Early Intensive Intervention (0-3): The first few years of life are a critical time for brain development. Starting support early helps children build a strong foundation for communication, play, and independence. Research shows children make the most progress with many hours of learning and practice each week (about 25-40 hours). For our little ones, we make learning fun and natural, focusing on skills like: Making requests, Imitation, responding to simple instructions, sharing attention, and playing, reducing challenging behaviors to age-appropriate levels, and more
- Communication: cooing, babbling, responding to name
- Motor: sitting without support, crawling, standing with help
- Social/Play: smiling, waving "bye-bye," showing interest in faces
- Daily skills: holding a bottle, finger-feeding
- Communication: first words, pointing to ask for things, following simple directions
- Motor: walking independently, climbing onto furniture, beginning to run
- Social/Play: parallel play (playing beside others), simple pretend play (feeding a doll)
- Daily skills: using a spoon, helping with dressing (e.g., hands up for shirt)
- Communication: 2-3 word sentences, naming objects, answering simple questions
- Motor: running well, jumping, starting to pedal tricycle
- Social/Play: more pretend play, beginning to play with peers
- Daily skills: toilet training readiness, washing hands with help, using cup.
School readiness skills (3-6): Our program offers small group classes that simulate a real classroom environment, where each child is supported by their own dedicated therapist. This allows children to practice learning alongside peers while still receiving individualized guidance.
With this approach, we help build confidence and essential skills, preparing them for a smooth and successful transition into a real school setting. We focus on skills like:
- Communication & Social Skills: Raising a hand for help, greeting friends, appropriate waiting, and taking turns.
- Self-Help Skills: Opening a lunchbox, using the toilet, and packing a school bag.
- Learning Behaviors: Following classroom routines, sitting for circle time, and listening to instructions.
- Early Academic Skills: Recognizing letters, numbers, and colors.
- Play & Group Skills: Joining group games and problem-solving with peers.
Pathways (6-18): We create personalized therapy plans tailored to your child's unique needs, providing support across a variety of settings—including home, school, and the community—to promote meaningful growth and everyday success.
a. Assessment (Intake): Before starting services, your child will go through a comprehensive intake process that includes interviews, direct behavioral observations, and skill assessments. This helps us understand their strengths, needs, and developmental level—so we can set meaningful, personalized goals.
b. 1:1 Therapy — Your learner works one-on-one with a well-trained behavior technician on a personalized program. Each session is regularly overseen by a qualified clinical supervisor, so your learner can progress at their own pace.
c. Overlap Session — During 1:1 teaching, the case supervisor closely monitors your learners progress and the quality of the teaching, ensuring every session is effective and supportive.
e. Paraprofessional Collaboration — We value every professional involved in your learners care. Our team works together with you, learner's speech therapists, occupational therapists, doctors, teachers, and other specialists because research shows that a coordinated approach helps learners grow confidently and successfully.
Young Adults/Adults (18-26): Our goal is to support learners as they transition into adulthood, giving them the tools they need to become confident, active members of their community.
We provide tailored support that builds meaningful life skills, such as:
- Independent Living: Learning daily skills like cooking, managing money, and personal hygiene.
- Employment & Vocational Training: Preparing for jobs through resume practice and interview preparation.
- Community Integration: Gaining confidence in real-world settings like grocery shopping and using public transportation.
- Health & Safety: Practicing important routines like taking medication and recognizing emergencies.
- Social & Relationship Skills: Strengthening friendships, communication, and teamwork.
